Break Free From the Anchor of Overwhelm
There’s knowledge to gain, entertainment to enjoy, and people to connect with... But you can’t!

Maintaining your personal life while working a 9-5 & building a business is hard—but not impossible.
I know you don’t want to neglect your loved ones, feel isolated, or teeter on the brink of burnout. That’s why time management is so incredibly important.
Here’s how I see it:
The Anchor On Your Tail

You’re a small fish swimming in a beautiful ocean, surrounded by endless fun and exciting things to do. There’s knowledge to gain, entertainment to enjoy, and people to connect with.
But you can’t.
This time-constraining anchor is dragging on your tail.
It feels like you’re constantly pulled down, unable to enjoy life’s beauty because this heavy weight demands all your focus just to stay afloat.
Until you have a realization…
That anchor? It’s not as heavy as it seems.
Yes, you only get 24 hours in a day. But much of the weight comes from the time spent worrying about balancing it all—not from the actual tasks themselves.
You discover that it’s mostly psychological.
You do have time for fun, for loved ones, for rest—while still balancing your job and business. The key is learning to manage the anchor, not letting it manage you.
Don’t force yourself into burnout.
Because there are enough ways to maintain your personal life while working on your job & business. Here are a few:
Organisation
Take Stephen King, The King Of Horror as an example. He’s best known for his novel IT—yes, the one with Pennywise the Clown.
Every morning, King would isolate himself from 8 AM to 12 PM, dedicating himself entirely to writing. No distractions, no excuses—just pure focus.
It wasn’t about waiting for inspiration to strike. Instead, it was about showing up and creating the environment to enter the flow state. As King writes in his book On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft:
"Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work."
You can apply the same principle to your schedule. Just block out focused time for your business, no matter how small, and protect it with all your might.

Most dogs understand more human words than humans understand dog words.
